HelloChinese is a great app! It systematically teaches Mandarin in an effective and fun way. I am a former foreign language teacher and this is definitely one of the best Mandarin apps available.

A great way to start learning Mandarin. I especially like that it includes speaking exercises.

This app is wonderful for learning Chinese.

HelloChinese is a great app. It teaches you the basics of Mandarin Chinese and soon increases to intermediate. It familiarizes you with words and characters. I give it a four star and not a five star because as you progress in your course you loose a lot of the sentences and words you have learned earlier so its very easy to forget. Also it doesnt clarify much of the sentence structure and how to keep it synced in mind on how to remember the structure. If the developers can find a way to help us remember every sentence and word we learned previously and got into more detail on sentence structure, then I would give this a five star. Although overall its a good app.

I studied Mandarin with this app and my Mandarin actually has improved a lot. This app helps you with writing skills,pronunciation and grammar. If you are a super beginner, i recommend you to use this app :)

Great app. I just do not think Im getting the hang of it with the Chinese writing. I believe that there should be a setting or so that allows us to write those Chinese characters and type in what those mean more often.

This is great for beginners learning Chinese, like myself. The structure is great, and I like that it touches on a little bit of everything. I find I am improving steadily and it really helps for picking out words in conversation. Overall, I would recommend this app.
